Michael Markunas

I am currently an Affiliate Researcher in Philosophy at King’s College London and a Departmental Tutor in Philosophy at the University of London. Prior to that I was an Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck. I received my PhD in Philosophy from University College London and my BA in Philosophy from the University of California Berkeley.

My research is primarily in the philosophy of perception, mind and language, but I have broader interests in epistemology, cognitive science, the philosophy of maths and history of analytic philosophy (especially Russell). You can read more about my research here

I have taught across a wide range of philosophy and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. You can read more about my teaching
